So, they emphasize page loading speed is a CERT signal because it\u2019s something their users want. If you have underpowered web hosting, an outdated layout, or oversized blocks of content on your site it\u2019s going to cost you search traffic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"user-content__text text\">\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"user-content__title title title--h3\">#2 User Engagement<\/h3>\n<p class=\"user-content__text text\">\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"user-content__text text\">With the help of artificial intelligence and sophisticated tracking tools, Google now measures user engagement on individual search results. In other words, it uses software to see whether someone stays on a website, clicks links, or does things like comment on a blog post. Each of these signals the presence of \u201cgood\u201d content in a way that a simple keyword-based search algorithm never could.
